Q. How do I know if coaching is right for me?
A.
Are you ready to make changes in your life but are unsure how to go about it? Do you need help to focus effectively on your present and future? If you answered ‘yes’ to both of these questions then coaching is probably right for you. Set up a free consultation to find out!

Q. How is coaching different from counseling?
A.
Coaching is a collaborative partnership which focuses on present and future goal-setting and action-planning. Coaching does not address underlying mental health conditions. In counseling the professional plays the role of “expert” in order to diagnose specific mental conditions, relieve emotional pain and guide the client toward emotional health by addressing the underlying causes of stated symptoms.

Q. How long will I need to stay in coaching?
A.
This answer depends on many factors, including the number and extent of your goals. Some clients realize their goals in three to six months and others choose to continue much longer than this. Each coaching relationship is a unique partnership.

Q. Why hire a coach when I already know what I need to do?
A.
Clients often say that although they knew what they needed to do, they didn't seem to actually follow through with their goals until they entered a coaching relationship. Coaching provides the support, accountability and motivation that may be lacking in a full and hectic life.
